Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. We do accept trade-ins on trailers.

Because trailers vary widely in condition, age, and use, trade-in values are based on an in-person evaluation. This allows us to give you an accurate and fair assessment rather than a rough estimate that could change later.

It’s also important to understand that trade-in values are different from private sale prices. When we take a trailer in, we account for reconditioning, safety checks, and resale costs before it’s put back on the lot.

If you’re considering a trade-in, we’re happy to walk you through the process and help you decide whether trading it in or selling it privately makes the most sense for your situation.

  • No, we're not currently prepared to offer trailer rentals but it is a service that we're considering in the future.
  • Yes. Our service department works on most trailer brands, not just the ones we sell.

From routine maintenance and repairs to brake work, bearings, wiring, and accessory installations, our technicians see a wide range of trailer types and applications. That experience allows us to diagnose issues accurately and get you back on the road faster.

If you’re unsure whether we can service your specific trailer or issue, our service team is always happy to review it with you and let you know what to expect before booking.

  • Yes. All new trailers sold at Work & Play include a manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty coverage can vary depending on the brand and components, but it typically includes structural coverage and manufacturer supplied parts such as axles, brakes, and lighting.

What matters just as much as the warranty itself is having a dealer who can support it. Our service department handles warranty inspections and repairs in-house whenever possible, helping make the process smoother and less frustrating for our customers.

If you have questions about warranty coverage on a specific trailer, we’re happy to review the details with you before you buy so there are no surprises later.

  • We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Trailer viewings & deliveries can be scheduled with a Sales Expert on Saturday by appointment only.
  • Yes. We can help with trailer customization and accessory upgrades.

Most customization work focuses on practical additions such as spare tires and mounts, hydraulic or electric jack upgrades, tie downs, lighting, windows, toolboxes, and other commonly requested options.

Because not all trailers are designed for every type of modification, customization availability depends on the trailer model and intended use. Our team will review what you’re looking to do and let you know what makes sense, what’s possible, and what’s best handled before or after purchase.

Our goal is to make sure any upgrades improve how you use the trailer, not compromise its safety or long term durability.
